Roy Cheddie Obituary

Roy Cheddie was born on June 9th 1940 in Plantation Diamond, Guyana the second son of Monieram and Toolsia Maude. He grew up in Agricola with his siblings Rex (deceased), Moon, Ronnie, Roopie, Duleep and Prit (deceased)and his many many cousins. He graduated from Indian Educational High School. His first job was at the Guyana Rice Marketing Board. At the age of 22,  he migrated to London to study and graduated with his ACC. It was there he met and married Minawatee Rajpal. They had Anouska and Shoshana before immigrating to the United States. They settled into the Upper East Side where they had their only son, Justin and then moved to Long Island.  Roy worked for Catholic Health Services for 25 years. Roy traveled extensively to over 55 countries and 5 continents. One of his many passions was in life was sports. He will be sorely missed by his entire family.
